What can happen for possession of cocaine *felony* 1st offense?
I live in GA and I called the law to get this guy out of my car that was trying to hit me , long story short the cops came and searched my car without my permission , then they arrested him and me as well because he had stolen stuff in my car. He was in a cop car alone and so was I . When we got to the jail they searched the cop car he was in and found a bag of crack cocaine , but charged both of us with it because he went over the guard lines. What do you think will happen to me even though that wasn’t in my possession?? This is my 1st offense and I do NOT have a drug record and I have hired a lawyer as well.
good 1st offence. deny deny deny. you had no clue also what was the purpose of searching you car in the 1st place (they wont like that – need good reason. keep it up yur sleeve). get a good story how he got in your car i the 1st place. . pray the the cc was on his side of the car not yours
and get a lawyer. turn your back on the bloke protect yourself. unless it was yours

The penalty varies somewhat on the amount, but if sentenced you could get anywhere from two to fifteen years in prison for first-time offense. However, if they were found on his person and not in your car, you have a pretty good defense, especially since you said you were the one that called the cops. Get a GOOD lawyer though. You don’t want to get tied to his wrongdoings.

Explain going over the guard lines?
Guidelines?
Easy. no drug charge with you.
Stolen possession of goods in your car. May be illegal search and seizure, unless you gave permission?
Probably trying to scare you to roll over on him and you should.
Overcharging is what it is called.
The charge will be dropped. Unless you aren’t telling all.
You calling means nothing. Lots of perpetrators call. It’s call ‘Stupid or dumb criminals tricks"
I knew a judge that shot at his ex wife when she pulled up in front of his house with her new boyfriend driving the brand new van that he had purchase for her. She came by to drop the kids off, for him to babysit. The kids were 15, 13, 12, so they could go to aka: church. Right.
Then he went into the house and called the police. They arrested him and he got a year in county jail.
